here we go part 2

this industry might be male dominated but ive been finding men who are not afraid to ask for help and share ideas sometimes the male machismo attitude stops us from workin together...okay enough of we are the world...i'm feeling great this week and its the 1st out of an 8 week program...confirmation is not when other women check you out but when other men check you out...keep the workouts intense and focused and people will be surprised that someone is working out at the gym..here is some motivation from a buddy on bodyspace i'll talk about that later here we go!!!!How many times have you heard the following statement?

What you hate doing is usually what will help you the most…

I’m guessing a lot. Makes sense, doesn’t it? Now think about how many times this went in one ear and out the other.. More times than you care to remember, right? This is why I believe most people know exactly what will help their progress and blast past their plateaus… It’s evident that "knowing" and "doing" are two different things, because some of the best so-called "experts" obviously forget to follow their own advice.

If you hate running, do it tomorrow. If you hate squats, make it your next workout. If you dread the stair-climber, let it be your next cardio workout. Learn to love the things you hate doing the most. Chances are, avoiding the obvious is exactly what’s holding you back. You’ve exhausted all your likeable options, now deal with reality!

No one likes to get out of their comfort zone. Why would you, it’s safe, it’s secure.. You are good at it, you know exactly what to expect. That 500lb bench press, no matter how impressive, has long become routine. That 10 mile run , no matter how effortless, has long become mundane. We are creatures of habit, and excellence in one area often prevents us from exploring further. Know this today, and venture past that tomorrow.

You will hate it, you will suck at it, you will dread the moment you fail. Maybe you’ll be outlapped by men twice your age, or maybe you’ll be out-lifted by a girl half your experience, but so what? Who are you really competing against, them or the person you were yesterday?

Here We Go!!!!

Black Fitness in America...I'm going to start blogging for one and one reason to extend a belief of each one teach one! Trust me, I LOVE to eat but I honestly think we are shooting ourselves in the foot as a society. We have different diets and ideas of fitness because of our history but in this day and age we can redefine this. This is a blog where Black women and men can share their thoughts, opinions, questions, challenges and successes with others, coming together to create one massive & empowering community! I come across a lot of stories I'd love to share please become a blogger and do the same, we need each other now more that ever.

Here We Go Again!

I'm going to start bloggin about black fitness in america and even around the world since I get to travel at times. I'm not going to say African American cause our or your world is cannot define use per se as such right now. Many brothers and sisters dont even identify with Africa as a whole. Whatever the case is we need to stand up and understand our health issue historically have been different for a reason. Lets explore these reasons and help each other out. Let us define beauty and fitness in a way that extends out life expectancy. Eat right and workout if not for yourself but for the ones you love and love you. Hopefully somewhere in there you will love and do for self.
